1334 Parchment Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, Florence This plan shows the design for the bell tower of the Florentine cathedral. It most probably stems from Giotto, who was made "capomaestro" in the year the foundation stone was laid. Only the lowest storey was built according to this plan.
